Children are like angels of light. They are hungry for love and affection. The homeless and needy would always search for a shelter like Vatsalyadham, which supports and nurtures homeless children. My wish to have one such shelter became true as soon as I entered Vatsalyadham. The parents of children of tribal area always have to work very hard and have to do a lot of labour work. My father also used to work very hard to meet the needs of the family. Suddenly, one unfortunate day my father died in an accident leaving us all without any support. Now, all the responsibilities of me and my sister came on my mother’s shoulder. Till VII Std I did well in academics, but after the death of my father, I had to leave my studies and had to help my mother in labour work to earn the livelihood.

Then one day Vatsalyadham entered in my life as an Angel. It took away our all pain and showed a new sunrise to our life. In the year 2011, when I entered Vatsalyadham, I was in Std VIII, and at present I am pursuing my studies in ITI and getting acquainted with the fitting and wiring work. I want to do something new in the field of electronics. Along with this, I also desire to bring homeless and needy children to Vatsalyadham and help them illuminate their lives.

Vatsalyadham has been a guiding star, a ray of light which has brightened the life of many children like me. Here, along with our comprehensive development, we are also taught the lesson of humanism.
