Urvashi Gaavit Success Storie

In present India, one more India resides and Adivasis are the identity of that India. India has become a progressive nation but everything would be worthless if the development of Adivasis does not happen. Seven years ago, I, Urvashi Gaavita daughter of Mulder village of Dharampur Taluka in South Gujarat, was forced to live as an orphan due to the untimely death of my father. Under such circumstances, I had to stay at my Maternal uncle’s house with my mother and even had to do household work to earn a livelihood. I was very much enthusiastic to study but couldn’t afford it. I was constantly worried about the fear of getting married at a young age. Fortunately, our close family members informed us about Vatsalyadham. This has led to tremendous development in my life. For many people like me who live their life in fear of being lost in darkness, Vatsalyadham is like shining star for them.

In 2011, I started studying in 9th standard at Vatsalyadham and took up nursing training after studying till 12th standard. Today, just because of Vastsalyadham, I have the opportunity to be a proud member of society. Even today, there is an exploitation of girls in the tribal area. Girls who do not have parental care are forced to do house and labor work compulsorily for their survival. They are forced to get married at a very young age and live an aimless life. I was able to overcome all these difficulties just because of Vatsalyadham. Today, I enjoy working as a nurse in the medical field. This is the result of the sacrament of humanity solemnized at Vatsalyadham.
