It was during the autumn season when I first stepped at Vatsalyadham and got enrolled in 4th Grade. I was completely amazed and inspired at first sight to see the campus. The way trees shred the leaves during the season, similarly, I would let go all my bad habits and deeply planted the roots to develop myself.

Initially, it was difficult for me to stay away from my family and also take care of my younger brother. It was the cheerful and supportive environment of Vatsalyadham and its ocean depth of love and care, unknowingly helped us to become the part of the campus.

For 3 years, I was given the opportunity to lead Kitchen, Hostel, and Teamwork Department. During the time, I saw my peers doing Photography and made me curious to explore it. I approached our Vice-Director and one day he gave me an opportunity to cover an event. He appreciated me for the creativity and trained & appointed me as a professional photographer of the campus.

The Vatsalyadham campus has many life-enriching activities to evolve the interest of every child. I was interested in Kabaddi and got training to participate at many state and national level competitions. I always participated in prayer gathering and used to give motivational speeches.

As a part of Language Team, I also trained the younger kids during the evening time. I used to give them age-appropriate topics on which they would think and talk to encourage their ideas.

Vatsalya Dashabdi Mahotsav was a life-changing event for me. It was during the event preparations, I interacted with Vasant Dada. I shared my interest with him to work in the field of photography. The event went by successfully and then we were called by Dada. He insisted us to rethink on the decision taken and asked if we would want to study further.

I got an opportunity to work at Laxmi Diamond and soon I realized my creativity to be restricted in the four walls. One day, I met Kinjal ma’am and shared my dream. She gave me a project to work on and I made a documentary film on Vatsalyadham. I was appreciated for the creativity and she appointed me as a Photographer and Data Coordinator at Gajera Trust.

Today, I am working for my passion and have also enrolled for a correspondence course in B.A. I believe one must keep walking on the desired path to realize their passion.
